Canadian household debt levels eased for a third straight quarter in Q4 according to Statistics Canada. In the last three months of 2023, households owed $1.79 in credit market debt for every dollar of disposable income. But a global rally in stocks and bonds boosted households net worth and offset a drag from reduced housing values. Anne Gaviola breaks it down in Business Matters for Wednesday March 13.
