Responding to a question about the future capacity of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), Minister of Emergency Preparedness Harjit Sajjan said in Ottawa on Friday that strengthening civil society organizations, responding earlier and only calling in the CAF as a last resort will help ensure the sustainability of its capabilities amid increasing security threats.
