Brandi Ferenc is an HVAC mechanic, journeyperson, and owner of Fair-Trades Tool Box, a company working to change the culture within the skilled trades to help entice more women to consider a career in them. As the keynote speaker at the Women and Children’s Shelter of Barrie’s International Women’s Day Luncheon, she shared her story about the discrimination she faced as a woman in the skilled trades and her hopes for the future.
