RCMP Integrated National Security Enforcement Team Supt. Glenn Sells said terrorism charges were laid because the accused in the Edmonton City Hall shooting was “politically motivated” and in his possession police found a SKS assault-style rifle, three prohibited rifle magazines, 150 round of ammo, and four gasoline-filled Molotov cocktails. Bezhani Sarvar, 28, is charged with counselling commission of a terrorism offence and possession of property for terrorist purposes.
