West Kelowna City Council has taken steps to protect its resort zones within the community from new provincial short-term rental rules. A higher-than-average rental vacancy rate is allowing the city to opt-out. As our Taya Fast reports some advocates believe all communities should have the opportunity to do the same when it comes to short-term rental.
