Black History Month: Learning about the ancient African concept of ‘Sankofa’

On the final day of Black History Month, Global News spent time at Sheridan College for a Sankofa-inspired art workshop, learning the meaning of the concept. A new tribute to the idea will continue year-round when Yonge-Dundas Square is renamed ‘Sankofa Square.’ Melanie Zettler reports.
