Quebec maple syrup producers are banking on a sweet syrup season, as many are beginning to tap their trees early. As Felicia Parrillo reports, at Sucrerie de la Montagne in Rigaud, employees are trekking into the property’s 120-acre forest to tap its maple trees because the sap is ready to flow.
