Around the age of 2, Kinaan’s parents noticed he was delayed in his speech, and he didn’t display any real sense of danger. Kinaan was referred to a Paediatrician, who recommended he get an autism assessment. And even though the family could not afford to pay for a private assessment, Kinaan’s mom booked an appointment anyway. It wasn’t until a week before the appointment that they discovered Variety was providing Autism Assessment grants.
