Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre said at a Wednesday news conference that he believed “biological males” have no place in women’s sports or female change rooms and that “female spaces should be exclusively for females.” Speaking from Edmonton later in the day, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau responded by attacking Poilievre for his comments, accusing the Opposition Leader of driving political wedges and sowing division. “Shame on them,” Trudeau said.
