As negotiations continue about a national pharmacare plan for Canada, a new poll from the Heart & Stroke and Canadian Cancer Society has found one in four Canadians are skipping doses, splitting pills or not filling prescriptions because of cost. As Sean Previl explains, advocates say it’s why a pharmacare plan is needed but has to be done right, protecting existing coverage that some Canadians already have while helping those without.
