To the beat of drums and song, more than a thousand people took to the streets in downtown Vancouver Wednesday to remember, honour and mourn missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. The annual Women’s Memorial March began at the corner of Main Street and East Hastings Street and stopped at locations where Indigenous women were last seen or found.
