The Lester B. Pearson School Board and a high school art teacher are being sued for allegedly selling works of art online without permission. The lawyer’s letter seeks $350,000 in damages and compensation for copyright violations. The students’ artwork has since been removed from online sites and is no longer for sale. But as Global’s Tim Sargeant reports, parents say the damage is done.
