Speaking in Ottawa on Monday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mélanie Joly said that she was “very concerned” about what was happening in Rafah. “They’re human beings, they exist. And we see them,” Joly added. “What the Netanyahu government is asking them to do, which is to leave again, is unacceptable because they have nowhere to go.”
