Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre held a press conference in Surrey, B.C., on Friday, where he spoke to reporters about Canada’s housing crisis. Poilievre said if he were Prime Minister, he would “punish” entities for “blocking home-building” through fines. He also suggested that this was something the “incompetent” Housing Minister Sean Fraser would not do, but rather fund “more bureaucrats to block more home-building.”
