The city’s deputy mayor for north Toronto is calling a rash of break-ins affecting small businesses an epidemic. As Toronto police have seen a rise of break-and-enters up 33 per cent so far this year over the same period last year, Councillor Mike Colle is calling for a summit to address the issue.
