During the federal government’s economic plan update on Tuesday, Treasury Board president Anita Anand addressed the ongoing auto theft epidemic in Canada, promising that the federal government will address “numerous levels of the issue” on Thursday — including the recognition that the thefts are related to Canada’s ports — and “hope to develop an action plan.”
