London, Ont. Police Det. Sgt. Katherine Dann said during a press conference announcing sexual assault charges against five members of Canada’s 2018 World Junior hockey team that when police in July 2022 reviewed their initial investigation that concluded in February 2019, “additional steps that could be taken to advance the investigation [were found].”
