Unusual sighting of Mandarin duck in Quebec on World Wetlands Day

A male Mandarin duck has been spotted on the banks of the Mille-Îles River in Laval, north of Montreal. The strange duck isn’t native to Canada and experts suspect it flew over the cuckoo’s nest and escaped from a breeder or somehow travelled here from China.
