Smith using ‘mean-spirited’ gender pronoun policy to ‘distract’ Albertans from provincial issues: Notley

During a press conference in Ottawa on Thursday, Alberta’s NDP leader Rachel Notley said Premier Danielle Smith’s recently proposed gender pronoun policy was not only “mean-spirited” and “tone deaf,” but being used to “distract,” “divide” and have Albertans “look away” from the issues facing their province under her power.
