Alberta’s school pronoun policy is ‘not becoming’ of Premier Smith’s office: Virani

Justice Minister and Attorney General Arif Virani reacted on Thursday to Alberta Premier Danielle Smith’s announcement of school policy changes impacting transgender youth in the province. He said the decision to require parental consent for students under 15 who want to change their names and pronouns “not becoming” of her office.
