B.C. puts pause on new post-secondary institutions accepting international student applications

B.C.’s new post-secondary institutions won’t be accepting any international student applications for the next two years. The freeze is designed to give the provincial government time to update and strengthen rules to protect those students from being exploited by unscrupulous private schools.
