Brianne Hudson, a doctor in Grande Prairie who had their medical licence revoked a year ago after being found guilty of sexually abusing a patient, is now offering services as an addictions counsellor. It’s a move that is angering others in Alberta who work as therapists. As Sarah Ryan explains, the counselling sector is unregulated, despite years of efforts by those in the industry who have been pushing the province to approve the proposed College of Counselling Therapy of Alberta.
