The devastating blaze at an apartment building on 79 Avenue near on 108 Street displaced all the residents living in the Old Strathcona-area walkup. Some worry about how they’ll get their lives back on track while others are upset over how the fire began —after police were on scene for hours leading up to it, trying to enforce a court order. Criminologist Dan Jones said crisis negotiation teams may need to re-evaluate their approaches. Kabi Moulitharan reports.
