Young onset dementia projected to impact more than 40K Canadians by 2050

Anyone under the age of 65 who receives a diagnosis of dementia has what’s referred to as “young onset dementia,” and it’s a growing public health concern in Canada. According to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, the number of individuals impacted is projected to reach more than 40,000 people by 2050. Katherine Ward has the details.
