Indigenous-led study of Seal River Watershed important step towards preservation, executive director says

On Thursday, Seal River Watershed Alliance executive director Stephanie Thorassie said, “Studies show Indigenous-led conservation is good for the land, that’s why 80 per cent of the world’s remaining biodiversity is on lands cared for by Indigenous peoples.”
