United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned Wednesday, while speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, that the phase-out of fossil fuels is “essential and inevitable” to avoid global climate catastrophe. “Let’s hope it doesn’t come too late,” he added.
