The UN chiefs say aid delivery is hobbled by too few border crossing openings, a slow vetting process for trucks and goods going into Gaza and continuing fighting throughout the territory — factors which Israel plays a deciding factor in. Authorities in the Hamas-run enclave reported the death toll in the Israel-Hamas conflict had surpassed 24,000 on Monday. Global’s Katherine Ward has this story.
