Iran missile strikes in Iraq raise fears of spillover from conflict in Gaza

Iran said late Monday it had fired missiles at what it claims were Israeli “spy headquarters” near the U.S. consulate in the northern Iraqi city of Irbil, raising concerns about a wider spillover in the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. The U.S. State Department has condemned the attacks as “reckless.”
