Longueuil mayor’s new strategy for unhoused residents includes tolerating tent encampments

The city of Longueuil is promising not to dismantle homeless camps dotted around the city. The mayor made the promise at a press conference announcing the city’s new strategy to tackle homelessness. It plans on spending over $800,000 this year to address the issue. Global’s Amanda Jelowicki reports.
