New study finds shark mortality increasing despite increased regulations

A new study, led in part by researchers at Dalhousie University, is showing an increase in global shark deaths due to fishing over recent years. As Megan King reports, despite an international effort to reduce the harvesting of shark fins, overall mortality is up – and many of the species being killed are endangered.
