Canada ‘carefully’ reviewing South Africa’s ICJ filing accusing Israel of ‘genocidal intent’

Asked Thursday about Canada’s stance on South Africa’s International Court of Justice (ICJ) filing accusing Israel of “genocidal intent” in its Gaza military campaign, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland remained mum. She said Canada is “aware” of the filing and “carefully” reviewing the case.
