Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Lisa Naylor announced on Monday that the provincial government will be spending $12 million on improving safety measures for the intersection of Highways 1 and 5, after a deadly crash led to the death of 17 seniors near Carberry last year. Naylor also detailed the results of a road safety strategy report that outlined three potential fixes for the medium-term.
