‘Human tragedy is huge,’ says Toronto doctor performing eye surgery, facial reconstruction in Gaza

A medical delegation from Rahma Worldwide, a U.S.-based non-profit aid organization, has been working through the Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza to complete complex surgeries on wounded Palestinians. Toronto ophthalmologist Yasser Khan is part of the medical team in Khan Younis and says the “human tragedy is huge.”
