Thick fog in Delhi caused disruption in flight and rail services, leaving many passengers stranded on Wednesday.
The local weather department reported that the city was enveloped in dense fog containing particulate matter and other pollutants, which may have a negative impact on the health of its residents.
The states of Punjab and Uttar Pradesh also experienced similar weather conditions with temperatures ranging between 6 to 10 degrees Celsius.
