After days of delays, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) adopted a watered-down resolution on Friday, calling for an immediate speed up of the flow of humanitarian aid deliveries to hungry and desperate civilians in Gaza. But, as Jackson Proskow reports, the resolution leaves out the original call for an “urgent suspension of hostilities” between Israel and Hamas.
