U.S. officials at Eagle Pass border crossing sound alarm amid ‘historic’ influx of migrants

Officials in the U.S. city of Eagle Pass, Texas are sounding the alarm over what they say is a “historic” infloux of migrants attempting to cross the border into the United States. Meanwhile, the White House is strongly criticizing Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s decision to fly migrants to sanctuary cities, calling it a “political stunt.”
