Quebec public sector unions threaten unlimited strike in new year, teachers reject latest government offer

The FAE union representing some 66,000 striking teachers has rejected the government’s latest offer. The union made the announcement late Wednesday afternoon saying they are still far from striking a deal. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousand of public sector workers in health care and education may be kicking off the new year with their own unlimited strike. Global’s Franca Mignacca reports.
