The Colorado Supreme Court declared on Tuesday that former U.S. president Donald Trump is ineligible for the presidency under the U.S. Constitution’s insurrection clause. The move will remove Trump from the state’s presidential primary ballot, and is likely to set up a showdown in the country’s highest court to decide whether the frontrunner for the GOP nomination can stay in the race.
