As Christmas approaches, some physicians have found out they won’t be getting paid when they thought due to a scheduled holiday break from Alberta Health. Family doctor John Hilner said he usually experiences a delay during the holidays, but this year he will be waiting nearly a month. Kabi Moulitharan explains what this means to their practices.
