A Central Okanagan neighbourhood has been named Canada’s latest FireSmart community, thanks to the efforts being made by residents to minimize the risk of a wildfire in the area. As Jayden Wasney reports, after the province experienced its worst wildfire season in its history, the regional district is encouraging everyone to learn more about how they can protect their properties.
