Health officials asking Quebecers to avoid overcrowding ERs during holiday season

Many of Quebec’s emergency rooms are overwhelmed heading into the holidays, with some operating at over 200 per cent capacity. Health authorities say one out of three people waiting in an emergency room should not be there and are asking those with non-urgent issues to take care of themselves at home.
