Canada is capping how much money private broadcasters will get under a $100 million deal with Google. Under the framework, print outlets will receive $63 million while private broadcasters will split $30 million. The federal government has also rolled out a timeline for Meta, the company that owns Facebook and Instagram, to return to discussions. Heather Yourex-West explains.
