Food inflation: Conservatives, NDP demand feds take action amid report on grocery price increase in 2024

During question period in the House of Commons Thursday, several Conservative and NDP MPs demanded the federal government to take action against the ongoing food affordability crisis in Canada. A demand for action was reiterated after a report revealed that the average family will spend approximately $700 more on groceries in 2024.
