On Thursday, Marc Miller, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, warned that the federal government is prepared to significantly limit the number of international student visas if post-secondary institutions and provincial governments don’t address the issue of financial support for international students. Miller urged all parties involved to take action to address the issue as they would not like the “bluntness” of the federal government’s “tools.”
