Transit cop’s job saved by Police Act delays

A public hearing recommended a transit cop be dismissed for beating a man at a SkyTrain station in 2011, but because the Police Act process took more than a decade, his discipline was much lighter. As Kristen Robinson reports, B.C.’s solicitor general calls the delay excessively long and wants this addressed in reforms.
