Fri, Jul 12: Though it’s summertime, Grade 11 student Renuka Koilpillai is focused on back-to-school, but with a twist. Teaming up with the Parker Street Food and Furniture Bank, she’s issuing a challenge to businesses in Halifax to donate a ‘filled backpack’ or the $60 equivalent to buy school supplies for low income children in the city.
