Former police officer Derek Chauvin, who was convicted in the murder of George Floyd, was stabbed by another inmate and seriously injured Friday at a federal prison in Tucson, Ariz. Minnesota attorney general’s office spokesman Brian Evans denounced the attack on Saturday and said that prosecutors have heard that Chauvin is expected to survive the assault.
