Former Paralympian Oscar ‘Blade Runner’ Pistorius granted parole, decade after killing girlfriend

Oscar “Blade Runner” Pistorius, the former Paralympian star, has been granted parole 10 years after shooting and killing his girlfriend — the late model Reeva Steenkamp. Pistorius, now 37, has remained in a Pretoria jail in South Africa since late 2014 after being convicted of murder and sentenced to 13 years and five months in prison.
