Poilievre criticizes feds for ‘destructive carbon tax’ in Ukrainian free trade agreement

After the Conservatives rejected a bill seeking to update the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement in the House of Commons on Wednesday, Opposition leader Pierre Poilievre criticized the federal government for supposedly “imposing [their] destructive carbon tax” on struggling Ukrainians amid their war with Russia.
