All children in Gaza could soon suffer a ‘catastrophic nutrition crisis,’ UNICEF official says

UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell stated during a UN Security Council meeting on Wednesday that “in addition to bombs, rockets, and gunfire, Gaza’s children are at extreme risk from catastrophic living conditions.” She adds that all children in Gaza are facing “what could soon become a catastrophic nutrition crisis.”
